What to wear at the KL Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2014

The 2014 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is just around the corner. At last count, there were nearly 500 people who signed up on the KL DGR Facebook page. If last year’s event is anything to go by, then we can expect even more people to actually turn up at Stadium Merdeka during the flag off. By now, most people should have had their suits and shirts ironed and the shoes buffed out. But if you’re doing some last minute prepping to look dapper on Sunday – then here are some guidelines which are available at the DGR Official website. Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) KL 2014

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was first started in 2012. Mark Hawwa of Sydney Café Racers saw a picture of Don Draper (from the acclaimed TV series Mad Men) sitting on a classic Matchless. Hawwa thought about how bikers in general had such a bad rep and wondered what could make people view them as nicer people.  Continue reading
