It may be hard to believe it. But underneath that custom retro fairing is an ER-6n. This conversion is the handiwork of Spirit of the 70s, based in Kent, UK. Starting with a standard bike, the company installed a Bimoto replica fairing and seat unit.
They then made a custom aluminum tank, knocking it into shape by hand. To finish off, replica endurance-style side filler caps were welded on. To complete the retro racer look, custom clipons and rearsets were installed, with a custom exhaust. Starting with a modern bike as a platform has many advantages.
Among them is a 200km/h top speed and easy and affordable maintenance costs.
